Today I said goodbye to Hillary and drove another hour west to visit the DeMauros! Mike is an old high school friend, and I was near his family's stomping grounds in Ocean Springs, MS so I decided to pay them a visit. Mike and Clarissa graciously showed me their cute little town (where they live about a mile from the beach) and we had lunch in Biloxi. Then it was time to get on the road and head to Florida!
I stopped in Pensacola and Pensacola Beach for a breather, then drove through to Fort Walton, FL. I took a chance on a $9.99 Mongolian buffet and they had a make-your-own-stirfry station, whoo hoo! I needed a veggie fix!
